How do I install the wallpapers?

Your saved wallpapers are automatically downloaded into your Camera Roll for easy access. To install, simply follow these steps:

Open your Camera Roll and find your wallpaper.
Tap the action button in the bottom left corner and select, “Use as Wallpaper.”
Tap “Set.”
For lock screen wallpapers, select “Set Lock Screen,” and for the matching home screen wallpaper, select “Set Home Screen.”
Ta da!

For devices that don’t allow users to change the home screen, simply follow these steps:

Open your Camera Roll and find your wallpaper
Tap the action button in the bottom left corner and select, “Use as Wallpaper”
Tap “Set”
Ta da!

I paid to unlock the wallpapers, but they’re still locked. Help!

So sorry to hear that you’re having trouble with the app! Don’t worry, though, Apple has assured us that these types of in-app purchases are “renewable,” which means it’s safe for you to go through the in-app purchase flow again and you won’t be charged twice. Apple will detect that this in-app purchase has already been made.

When I open the app, all I can see are the navigation bars without the wallpapers. Help!

In order to grab the images from our server, you need to have 3G/4G or WiFi enabled. Some people don’t always keep that on when they’re browsing or using apps, so give that a try and it should solve the issue.

Will my wallpaper change automatically?

There’s currently no way to set your wallpapers to change or rotate automatically. As soon as this functionality is possible, we’ll let you know!

How much does the app cost?

Free to download, Paper’d gives you unlimited access to a frequently updated selection of 230+ free wallpapers, as well as an ever-changing gallery of 300+ additional wallpapers available through in-app purchase for just $1.99!

Why can’t I apply the wallpaper from within the app? Why do my wallpapers save to the Camera Roll instead of the Wallpapers folder?

We know it would be easier to apply your wallpapers from directly within Paper’d, and it would be great if every wallpaper you downloaded was saved in your Wallpapers folder instead of your Camera Roll, but unfortunately these functions aren’t currently possible. If Apple makes changes to allow for either option, we’ll definitely let you know!

Are there wallpapers for both the lock screen and the home screen?

Each lock screen wallpaper you see in the Paper’d gallery comes with a corresponding home screen wallpaper for all compatible devices that integrates seamlessly with your existing app icons. When you download a wallpaper, the matching home screen is automatically downloaded at the same time for easy access.

Can I create my own wallpapers from within Paper’d?

All of the wallpapers in the Paper’d gallery have been pre-designed, but our second upcoming app, Paper’d DIY, will let you create your own custom wallpapers with a wide variety of backgrounds, fonts, colors, and more! For updates on all upcoming app launches and other news, make sure you’re on our email list.

Is there a version of Paper’d for the iPad?

Not yet, but there will be soon! This upcoming app will feature wallpapers designed specifically for the iPad, taking advantage of the gorgeous screen size and image quality, and we’ll let you know as soon as it’s released.

Is there a version of Paper’d for Android?
